Penny & Pearl’s began in March 2020 in the home kitchen of Natalie and Amanda Zant. Fresh-baked cookies brought a familiar comfort to the Louisville community during a time of isolation and uncertainty.

With that community’s support, the bakery opened its St. Matthews storefront in 2021. The focus remains fresh cookies and a warm welcome on Fairfax.
